what have i forgotten?


waves coming from any sea
bring you adrift to me

what have i forgotten
in these foolish things that i say?

my own silver dance with the sea,
the wild wind carrying me
or just the glowing gallop of my heart?

What have i sought in this glade,
The druidical forest of my soul
or the blind and strong silence of the rocks?

what a strange fate
death rinsing slowly our dreams and days!
give me your hand -
where are my fingerprints!?
